Cook’s mother
There is a beautiful article about David Cook’s beautiful mother Beth Foraker (here is the link: http://www.herlifemagazine.com/images/pdf/HerLife_11-08.pdf).
In it she talks about the American Idol Journey the she had with her son and the difficulty of having one son make it onto American Idol while her other son, Andrew, was cut in the first round of auditions. It also talks about the emphasis that she and her family put on family togetherness and what it was like raising her sons.
It is really a nice human interest article and i think it’s a good read even if you aren’t a fan of Cook.
