David Cook in Wisconsin
Last night, David Cook and the band resumed the Declaration Tour at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. It was only a 13 song set (listed below with some videos) but there were two reasons to cheer. For one thing, Cook found two fans in the audience who were celebrating their birthdays and he brought them on stage, gave them free T-Shirts and sang “Happy Birthday.” That doesn’t happen at just any show.
The other exciting thing was that the band performed a song called; “We’re Only Honest When We’re Sleeping” which came off of DC’s unreleased 2007 album that he was making independently before his entire world changed with Idol. It was the first time the song was performed but from the looks of it, it will not be the last.
